On-chain growth forensics for Solana meme coins

Every runner leaves a trail.
Catalyst reads it.
Then you find the next.

Paste any Solana CA. Catalyst reverse engineers the market cap catalysts, the candle where volume ignited, the wallets that moved it, the pump.fun callouts and the posts that lit the fuse, so you can study why a meme coin worked, replicate the pattern, and spot the next one early.

01 / How it works

From a contract address to a playbook.

One paste. Catalyst pulls every public signal it can reach, lines them up on a single timeline, and tells you what moved first.

01 · Paste

Drop in any CA

A coin that already ran, or one that launched an hour ago. No wallet connect, nothing at risk.

02 · Collect

Pull the signals

Callouts and coin data from pump.fun. Wallet swaps from Helius. Posts and accounts from X. Price and volume candles are pulled alongside.

03 · Teardown

Find the catalysts

Every new ATH, the volume ignition, wallets behind each surge, callouts and tweets that landed just before the move.

04 · Replicate

Read the story

A narrative tab and a talking cat walk you through what happened, who pushed it, and what to copy or avoid.

02 / What you see

Six lenses on one coin.

Each one answers a single question about why a meme coin ran.

catalysts.ascii
Market cap catalysts

Every new ATH, pinned to its cause.

Catalyst walks the market cap candle by candle and pins each new all-time high on the chart. Click a pin and you land on the timeline card for that move: how much volume came with it, what it was worth, and what happened just before.

  • ATH ladder, launch to peak
  • Log or linear scale
  • Dashed lines for King of the Hill and graduation
ignition.ascii
Volume ignition

The exact moment it woke up.

Most runners have one candle where volume steps out of its normal range and price follows. Catalyst measures every candle against its recent baseline, shades the surge zones, and marks the first one that moved price as the ignition.

  • Volume vs trailing median
  • Surge zones shaded on the chart
  • Time from launch to ignition

Wallets · Helius

Who actually moved the volume.

Helius swap history is parsed per wallet: top buyers and sellers, the first 15 buyers and whether they still hold, and the three wallets behind each ATH or surge. Wallets are tagged dev, early, whale or bot-like, and also sniper, insider, bundler or smart. Paste your own tracked wallets and their buys and sells are pinned on the chart and replayed in Playback.

  • Top-10 volume share
  • Holder mix: insiders, snipers, bundlers
  • Your tracked wallets on the chart
callouts.ascii
pump.fun callouts

Who called it, when, and how it went.

The official pump.fun API gives every callout on the coin: the market cap at the call, the multiple since, the best multiple reached, and how many wallets tailed it. Callouts show up as chart markers and on the catalyst cards they landed beside.

  • Caller, call price, max multiple
  • Tail buyers per callout
  • Pump users holding and top-trader trades
signal.x
X accounts & viral posts

The tweet that lit the fuse.

Catalyst pulls the project account, its top posts, and the highest-engagement mentions of the CA or cashtag. For each one it measures what market cap and volume did in the next day, and lists the earliest callers with their follower counts.

  • Viral posts ranked by views
  • Market cap and volume after each post
  • Earliest X callouts vs ignition
narrative.cat
Narrative & the cat

The story, told back to you.

The Narrative tab summarises what the coin was about, phase by phase, citing the posts, callouts and comments behind each claim. The Catalyst cat reads you the short version out loud after every scan.

  • Themes, sentiment, who pushed it
  • Watch-outs and what the data can't see
  • Copy the whole thing as markdown
03 / The playbook

Study the winners. Copy the pattern. Catch the next one.

Catalyst doesn't predict prices. It shows you what the coins that ran had in common, so you can check a fresh launch against the same signs while it's still early.

Study

Read how past runners ran.

Scan the coins that did 10×, 50×, 100× and lay their timelines side by side.

  • How long from launch to ignition?
  • What preceded it: a callout, a post, a wallet cohort?
  • Did the first buyers hold, or exit into the pump?
  • Which ATH was the real peak, and what followed?
Replicate

Turn it into a checklist.

The teardown tells you what the winners shared. Copy the parts you control.

  • The narrative theme and how it was worded
  • Which callers and accounts were early
  • What the launch and graduation timing looked like
  • How concentrated the wallets were
Find the next

Run it on what's new.

Paste a fresh CA and compare it with your checklist while there's still time to act.

  • Volume starting to step above baseline?
  • Callouts from accounts that called winners before?
  • Early wallets holding or already selling?
  • A story people are repeating, not just a ticker?

04 / The limits

What this can't tell you.

Stated up front, so you can weigh the output properly.

Correlation, not causeA post landing before a pump is a clue, not proof. Catalyst shows timing and size, and leaves the conclusion to you.
Wallets are fee payersHelius attributes each swap to the transaction's fee payer, so routers and bundlers can mask the real trader.
Some sources are unofficial or cappedpump.fun's frontend endpoints can change or block requests, and X recent search only reaches back about seven days without a full-archive tier.
Not financial adviceCatalyst helps you research. It doesn't tell you what to buy, and most meme coins go to zero.

05 / Try it

Scan a coin.

No wallet, nothing at risk. Paste a CA and watch the cat explain it.
